Interpile sheeting
Cheap and quick!
Interpile sheeting is a shoring method and is often the cheapest and quickest soil retaining solution. They can be used as temporary retaining wall for excavations and trenches, but also as permanent formwork.
At regular intervals, steel H-sections are inserted vertically in the ground. Between these sections, either metal sheeting is vibrated into the ground, or concrete or wood retaining panels are placed. Depending on the soil height to be retained or an important load nearby (traffic, tower crane, building, ...) this interpile sheeting can be anchored.
